The canon 50mm f0.95 lens was made back in 1960s and 1970s for the canon 7/7s rangefinder and it held the crown for the fastest production lens in the world at the time. the lens was designed by lens master mukai jirou. it is a gauss type lens, 7 elements in 5 groups. about 19,000 of these lenses were made during the early 60’s to the early 70’s. and "tv" verision is apparently about 7000pcs produced only.  The standard version is rangefinder coupled and was made specifically for the Canon 7/7s film rangefinders. These cameras have a special mount to take the 50mm f/0.95 and one cannot use the lens on other film rangefinders, Sony, Leica etc.  The Canon TV Lens” version. Canon launched the unique large-aperture header Canon 50mm/f0.95 in August 1961.  The lens were produced back in 1960s and 1970s for the canon 7/7s rangefinder and it held the crown for the fastest production lens in the world at the time.  This lens attracted the attention of camera fans all over the world as soon as it appeared on the market. I have heard about the Canon lens and I have been searching for a Canon TV lens back in 2018 and have not been able to get one. Recently, I have decided to pick up my hobby of photography again and I have started my search again. I have finally found one Canon 50mm lens at very reasonable price of HK$16888 at a vintage camera shop near Jordan. I have made appointment to buy it coming Monday. Unfortunately, in the Saturday afternoon, I received a WhatsApp message from the shop saying that the lens have been sold. As a result, I will need to restart my search again.  I was a bit disappointed but I have decided to look for one TV lens instead. Owing to my work, I have stopped my hobby of photography for awhile. I have decided to restart my photography hobby again with the ordering of a new vintage lens. This is an old vintage Dallmeyer 3” f4.5 Popular enlarging Anastigmat lens that need to be modified in order to be able to use it in modern camera.
